Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I place an order?
    Simply find your favourite meal/s, select how many servings you would like by using the Quantity selector, click, 'Add to cart', and 'Checkout' when you're ready to pay. You will be asked to enter in your details for delivery. Go ahead and save your details with us to make it easier to checkout next time. No orders will be released without full payment.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept most credit and debit cards for all online payments. We will also accept instant EFTs through our payment portal only. We do not accept Cash payments through our website.
  • Can I get a weekly/monthly subscription delivered?
    Unfortunately we do not yet offer a subscription option. We deliver on an order-by-order basis.
  • Where do you deliver to?
    We deliver within Gauteng only at a flat rate of R100 per delivery. Let us know if you'd like our delicious meals delivered to your area! We will expanding soon.
  • How much do I pay for delivery?
    We charge a flat rate of R100 per delivery within Gauteng. Contact us if you are unsure whether we deliver to your address.
  • How do I qualify for free delivery?
    All orders valued at R1000 and over and delivered within Gauteng qualify for free delivery. This delivery discount will automatically be applied to your order at checkout provided you meet the above requirements.
  • How long do deliveries take?
    Pick your delivery day for tomorrow or any day within one week from placing your order. Simply select it from the delivery options at checkout. Currently we only deliver within Gauteng at a flat rate of R100. All deliveries are made between 12 noon and 6pm Monday to Saturday. No deliveries will be made on Sundays. We do not deliver on public holidays and special days of observance. Details will be made available accordingly.
  • How do you keep food fresh for delivery?
    All food is prepped, sealed and packed the morning of delivery. We pack your order within an insulated carton from our exclusive kitchen facility in Johannesburg.
  • How many servings do I get in one dish?
    All meals are served as packs of 2 servings. If you select Quantity 1, you will receive one pack with two servings. If you select Quantity 2, you will receive two packs with two servings each, totalling 4 servings and so on.
  • Are your ingredients fresh?
    Yes! Our chefs wouldn't have it any other way. Our ingredients are locally sourced for quality, flavour and freshness. They are then hygienically prepped, sealed and packed the morning of your delivery from our exclusive kitchen facility in Johannesburg. Each ingredient pack is labeled with expiry dates for your convenience. We recommend refrigerating fresh ingredients and cooking your meals within 1-3 days from receipt of delivery.
  • How do I know if there are allergens in my food?
    We have listed potential allergens in all our dishes on each product page. However, we cook and package our products in a kitchen that uses nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat and other allergens. We cannot guarantee that cross-contamination of these allergens will not occur.
  • How much cooking will I have to do?
    Our recipes are designed to take take less time shopping and preparing meals. And to taste great! You may be required to boil, fry, bake or roast. You will never have to make sauces or mix spices. You may be required to do minimal chopping. Though most fruit and vegetables will go out pre-cut, some travel better unpeeled and uncut. All our recipes include a simple step-by-step guide on how to combine and cook the ingredients.
  • Will I have to use any of my own ingredients?
    Yes. You may only be required to provide salt and cooking oil from your pantry.
  • What equipment will I need?
    You will usually need standard home cooking equipment like an oven and stove/hotplate. Pots, pans, sharp knives, and basic utensils. Some recipes may offer microwave, airfryer, and/or braai alternatives.
  • What's your return and exchange policy?
    Please read our Return Policy.
  • What happens if a packet has opened or leaked in my box?
    Though every effort has been made to ensure safe and secure delivery of your order, sometimes a packet may arrive opened due to travel. An open packet doesn't always mean it is spoiled or bad. Please contact us immediately so that we may assess and sort it out for you.
